The hidden Rangers 'issue' amid stadium chaos as Celtic ally emerges to offer Philippe Clement counsel

Kenny Dalglish has warned Rangers that their problems with Ibrox are not the only "big issue" facing the club this summer - as the Celtic legend fired Philippe Clement a transfer warning.

Record Sport revealed that further talks will take place this week about hiring Hampden for the foreseeable future after a delegation from Rangers visited the national stadium last week to get put the facilities under the microscope. Chairman John Bennett is closing in on a deal to secure his club a temporary home in Mount Florida with talks escalating - despite Murrayfield remaining an option on the table.

And the Light Blues have found an unlikely ally in former Celtic hero Dalglish - as he admitted hoping for a quick fix for the club ahead a blockbuster opening to the campaign with crucial Scottish Premiership clashes and Champions League qualifiers on the agenda. However, he reckons that the real issues that is facing the club could be on the transfer front.

With the likes of John Lundstram, Borna Barisic and Ryan Jack among the Ibrox veterans who have already left the club - Clement has been told that bringing in experience will be "key" despite the off-field "big issues" that have not been resolved amid Rangers' Ibrox lockout. Writing for the Sunday Post, he said: "Rangers have signed a few players and that was what Philippe Clement wanted.

"That is the focus for Philippe but another big issue to be resolved is where the club will playing first-team football at the start of next month. Conversations with the SFA for Hampden and the SRU for Murrayfield have taken place and the sooner a decision is made, the better for all.
