The haunting pictures that show how cancer quickly ravaged beloved dad Bobby Power

Sat holding the hand of his new bride and surrounded by his loved ones, Bobby Power smiled as he was photographed on his wedding day. It was a 'beautiful' ceremony in front of friends and family on Valentine's Day.

But it took place at Dr Kershaw's Hospice, in Oldham, where 40-year-old Bobby was being cared for. His body had been ravaged by pancreatic cancer - and his family say he had been unable to get 'any treatment whatsoever'.

Describing the wedding, Bobby's mum Estrella Barry told the Manchester Evening News: "He couldn't walk or anything. He was like a little skeleton.

"It was what he wanted, but a few weeks later he died. He has inspired so many people because he was just such an active person."

In posts to his 24,000 followers on Instagram, the 'inspirational' personal trainer from north Manchester vowed to keep 'fighting'. He wrote in January: "I’m a warrior and I want my three girls to remember me as the man and Dad I was before this disease started to take over me."

Tragically, Bobby died on February 29, 15 days on from his wedding to Jemma Power-Bliss. Dad-of-three Bobby had been a youth player at Manchester United in the 1990s and starred as 'Gorgeous' Gordon Burley in cult 2000 football film, There's Only One Jimmy Grimble.

More recently, he gained a huge following on social media as a motivational fitness guru who loved climbing outdoors and sharing messages to help others. Recalling the moment Bobby told her he had pancreatic cancer, Estrella said: "I was like 'no way, not you... you're going to live to 110'. But unfortunately it was true."
