Asda shoppers have a limited time left to enjoy its free breakfast deal

Asda has been feeding customers a free warming breakfast over the past few weeks, but the deal will soon come to an end. The initiative saw the supermarket handing out porridge and a hot drink to customers struggling with the rising cost of living.

Launched on February 7, a total of 205 Asda Cafe’s partnered up with Quakers to allow shoppers to enjoy a free bowl of porridge along with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, to warm up from the UK’s cold winter weather.

The free breakfast is open to people of all ages and runs from 8am to 12pm daily. However, those that wish to avail of the breakfast should know the initiative is set to end next Wednesday (March 20).

The free breakfast initiative is now one of four that are live in Asda Café’s, alongside the popular Kids Eat for £1 which has served over 3.1 million meals since its launch in June 2022.

The £1 Winter Warmers initiative for over 60s ran until the end of February, which offered soup, a roll and a hot drink to more than 350,000 people since November.

The retailer also offers local community groups the ‘community cuppa’ which gives them a warm and free place to meet with a free hot drink.
