'The GOAT' - Leicester City fans make Jamie Vardy plea after thrashing Watford

Leicester City fans have been reacting to a thumping 5-1 win over Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

Joao Pedro opened the scoring in the sixth minute, but the Foxes hit back before long, with James Maddison grabbing the equaliser. Moments later Jamie Vardy put them in front.

Harvey Barnes scored immediately after the interval and from there City put the game out of sight. Vardy got his second with 20 minutes remaining before Barnes grabbed his own brace late on.

After the game supporters were effusive in their praise of Vardy, who scored his 13th and 14th goals of the season. It's the seventh straight year in which the 35-year-old has scored 13 or more league goals in a single campaign.

It's 2022 - Jamie Vardy is 35 Years-old, has been injured and still has the best MPG (minutes per goal) in the Premier League. That's a goal for every 117 minutes he's been available. Outstanding.
