'The game is well balanced' Ex-Forest striker Jason Lee predicts tough test from Sheffield United

Former Nottingham Forest striker Jason Lee reckons Sheffield United will head into tonight's Championship play-off semi final decider with confidence after they bagged a crucial late goal in the first leg of the double header.

Goals from Jack Colback and Brennan Johnson saw Forest 2-0 up on 71 minutes at Bramall Lane, with visitors Forest in control of the first leg of the play-off semi final tie.

However, a late Sander Berge header saw Paul Heckingbottom's Blades grab a goal back to hand them a lifeline heading into the second leg at the City Ground.

Away goals do not count in the play-offs, meaning one goal for Heckingbottom's side will see them level the tie on aggregate against Forest.

A place in the Championship play-off final beckons for whomever prevails from the City Ground clash, with Huddersfield Town waiting to play the winner after they beat Luton to reach Wembley.

And ex-Forest striker Lee reckons Sheffield are more than good enough to hurt his former side ahead of the second leg.

"For Sheffield United, they can pose a threat," Lee told Sky Sports News.

"They've shown that they are good enough, they showed that they had some resilience in that game to come out after half time and really push the game forward which they did for 10, 15 minutes.

"Then they got the goal back. It wasn't a great goal but that will give them confidence. They've got good players, they have got some injuries but so have we. The game is well balanced."
