Tessman signing in jeopardy, top target to sign 5-year deal, Bueno door closes – breaking Celtic transfer updates

In-demand Tanner Tessman is reportedly on the verge of seeing a second move to a Serie A powerhouse fall through after talks with Fiorentina hit a snag.

It was a similar story for the USA international after a deal to Inter came apart at the seams. And a report out of Florence claims it's "commissions requested by the player's agents" which is potentially set to kibosh a move to La Viola from Venezia – after the sides agreed a £5.4m deal to make it happen.

Celtic have been linked with Tessman this summer with a report in Italy stating the Premiership champions remain keen with dialogue ongoing between Brendan Rodgers' side and the USA international's camp. The 22-year-old earned acclaim with his displays in Serie B last season. And now further doubt has been cast on where he will play his football next season.

Meanwhile, Paulo Bernardo has undergone his medical before signing a five-year deal with the Premiership champions. A £3.4m deal has been struck and he is expected to arrive in Glasgow in the coming days. The 22-year-old impressed on loan last season and is expected to become a key contributor upon his return.

Adam Idah wants to come back to Celtic on a permanent deal, however, he faces a disciplinary matter after missing a flight with Norwich for their German training camp. The two sides remain in talks as the 23-year-old patiently awaits the green light to head back to Glasgow.

Elsewhere, Hugo Bueno appears set to stay at Wolves with the Molineux side kiboshing multiple loan requests for the Spain U21 international. Celtic are long-term admirers but Gary O'Neill wants him to stick around.
