'Taxi' - Leicester City fans keen to see defender complete shock transfer

Leicester City supporters have been quick to react to a report that defender Caglar Soyuncu is the subject of interest from Real Madrid.

It is said that a potential deal would be worth £38m, something many would consider a steal given his dips in form, particularly this season. The defender has played much of the season due to injuries, though has been quickly replaced by Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans following their respective returns to fitness.

Manager Brendan Rodgers is keen for a healthy refresh of his squad this summer and the departure of Soyuncu could be part of that. A centre-half is understood to be one of three key positions the club are looking at ahead of the summer transfer market.

Below is a look at what City supporters have been saying about the latest transfer report.

: He's refused to sign a new contract, his price will only get lower and lower I wouldn't hesitate if true!!

: Ordered a taxi from Seagrave to East Midlands Airport, I've paid for a flight to Madrid for tonight. I've offered Madrid my house to take him. They said no they'll swap for Benzema... dunno you know

: Are you sure that's not 38 pound. They must need someone to make the tea

: Snap their hands off if they are really offering 40m for him.

: Been a decent player for LCFC especially with the right partner in Evans but quite inconsistent otherwise. Would be worth cashing in now so can focus on investing in the next level of defender we now need to keep within touching distance of the top 8.

: Doesn't it beggar the question, "where are heavily in debt Real Madrid, who according to their president cannot survive without the "super" league, going to find £38m? These "super" clubs should be on a transfer embargo until they can pay
