Leicester City fans pile in as Brendan Rodgers sent message on four transfers

Leicester City are set for a busy transfer window this summer as Brendan Rodgers looks to freshen up his squad ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Preparations for a season with no European football for the first time in two years are already underway despite City having four games remaining - starting tonight against Norwich City.

With Youri Tielemans set to depart the Foxes, Rodgers has previously claimed signing players with "new hunger" to add to his squad would see them return to the European places this time next year.

There has been talk of a shake up at the King Power Stadium and there could be five or six new figures in the Leicester squad in the next few months meaning more departures will have to happen.

Yesterday, LeicestershireLive looked at four transfers that could generate £65 million in the club's coffers to add more blood to Rodgers side. Including Tielemans, Ayoze Perez, Hamza Choudhury and Ryan Bertrand were listed, with all three hardly featuring this season.

In the comment section of the story, Leicester City fans have had their say on the players mentioned and who they believe could be exiting the club this summer.

Maybe there wouldn't have been such a need to sell these players if they were played in their preferred positions and allowed to play with a little more freedom. It seems the players are being told to play a certain way with which they are usually unaccustomed to.

Perez for example was brilliant for Newcastle but is a shadow of that player for Leicester - you surely don't become that bad over a short period of time.

If we diving into the transfer market I really hope we buy and play the players in their preferred positions and let them express themselves.
