Taxi for Todd Cantwell as Rangers diehard takes his medicine from 3 angles on spicy Hotline
It's General Election day and while there's no politics in the Hotline, there's plenty of the bickering we've seen at debating panels in the buildup to polling.
The news is that Todd Cantwell could be off to Saudi Arabia to reunite with James Bisgrove at Al-Qadsiah. And Neil Renton, Leith, was first to take the floor as he said: "If I was Rangers I’d drive Todd Cantwell to Saudi Arabia for any proposed move. He brings nothing to the team other than a nice hairdo. He seems to want to be more of a hit on social media than at Ibrox."
The bold Chris Lowe has been taking it tight for his claims in a recent Hotline and it was no different today. Arrin Geddes, Irvine, said: "I hope Chris Lowe isn’t in charge of any finances at his work. Of the Celtic players he lists, four of those made the club approximately £35M profit and the rest are still at the club. We may well be gullible but we’re definitely not blinkered!"
Michael Edmonds, Northampton, said: "The fantasist Chris Lowe mentioned eight Celtic players that he says he put a valuation on. Nonsense, the fact is he called Virgil van Dijk a £10m myth and that Morelos with his feast of European goals (how many against Celtic?) would go for millions more than French Eddy, another load of cobblers conveniently forgotten. He says 'the O’Riley calculator,' well he should use it to add up all the medals won by those eight Bhoys against his team’s whole squad."
And James Brown, Glasgow, said: "So the so-called expert Chris Lowe is on here gushing about Ianis Hagi at the Euros. I wouldn't give you two bob for him and he was part of the Romanian Team that got hammered 3-0 by a very average Dutch team."
So who else could we turn to next? The opposition speaks as Chris Lowe, Yoker, said
