Tameside traffic amid long delays and road blocked
Traffic was tailing back in parts of Tameside this morning following an incident in Mottram. Queues built up between the M67, at Hattersley, and Tintwistle for the A628 Woodhead Pass.
There were also queues on the A57 approaching Hollingworth from Glossop. It followed a vehicle fire on Back Moor, in Mottram, at around 7.45am today (March 21).
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service says its crews attended for around 40 minutes. Inrix said the road was 'blocked in both directions'.
