Swansea City 0-2 Luton Town: Campbell and Morris goals earn Hatters victory

Swansea City remain without a home win this season as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Luton Town.

The Swans desperately struggled to threaten for long periods and fell behind to Allan Campbell's driven strike in the first-half. Creativity was desperately lacking from the hosts, with Nathan Jones' men looking the more likely to bulge the net despite seeing little of the ball for long spells.

And substitute Carlton Morris drilled home in the second-half to earn the Hatters their first win of the campaign to leave Swansea with just one victory from their opening six matches in all competitions.

Russell Martin made two changes from the side that started against Millwall on Tuesday night. Joel Latibeaudiere was unavailable after dislocating his shoulder against the Lions, meaning Matty Sorinola was handed a start.

The only other alteration saw Ben Cabango come in for Kyle Naughton who dropped to the bench as the Swans clearly had an eye on dealing with the Hatters' aerial threat.

Luton looked to press early on, but Swansea quickly settled into their passing rhythm. The hosts weren't afraid to be direct when needed, with Joe Allen, Ryan Manning and Matt Grimes among those to whip dangerous balls into the Luton box.

Swansea created the first opening as the ball fell to Joel Piroe whose shot was blocked from close range. But Jones' men earned a few corners of their own, and the Swans fell behind in the 14th minute after failing to clear their lines.

Andy Fisher punched Luke Freeman's corner out of his area, but Campbell unleashed a driven strike beyond the Swansea goalkeeper to put Luton in front.

There were clearly nerves among the home fans, and Luton's press ensured Swansea struggled to make their way up the pitch. Fisher
