Strictly Come Dancing viewers say 'has anyone else noticed' as they're left with question over Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice

Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing thought they were seeing things as they asked 'has anyone else noticed?' over Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice's appearance on the show. The pair were back in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 7) for week three of the BBC One dance contest.

It was Movie Week and fans of the show were left in tears as the group of professional dancers opened the show with a special Disney medley featuring songs from across the entertainment firm's biggest films which included songs from Pocahontas, Frozen and red-haired Dianne Buswell leading the dance to The Little Mermaid.

And the Disney theme didn't stop there as Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman then began the third week of the competition by being escorted into the ballroom by Mickey and Minnie Mouse while fellow iconic and much-loved characters Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy Duck also walked out with the judges.

It was then time to introduce the remaining 14 couples back onto the dancefloor as they prepared to dance to songs from a whole host of films from Grease and The Sound of Music to Carbaret and Romeo + Juliet. However, it was Amanda and Giovanni who got plenty of viewers talking after they appeared to undergo an outfit change between their first appearance and their performance before later being seen again in their first outfits of the evening.
