Stats and Facts: It's Verstappen's Red Bull Show as F1 goes on summer break

Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing took another victory in 2023, this time around the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

The defending two-time Formula 1 champion started the race in sixth place but was leading by Lap 17. The win was Verstappen's tenth of the season and eighth in a row.

It was Red Bull's 12th victory for this year - the other two coming courtesy of Sergio Perez earlier in the season.

With teams and drivers now going on a well-deserved four-week break, this is how some of F1's record books look post-Belgium.

Stats and Facts

- Verstappen's Belgian Grand Prix victory came with a 22.305-second advantage over teammate Perez. Last year, Verstappen led Perez over the line by 17.841 seconds.

- With his eighth successive win, Verstappen is now second on the all-time list of consecutive F1 victories. Sebastian Vettel holds the record for nine (with Red Bull in 2013).
