Stacey Solomon says 'it hurts my heart' as she addresses age gap between eldest and youngest child

Stacey Solomon has told her fans that the bond between her eldest and youngest child 'hurts her heart'. The Loose Women star took to social media to share a sweet moment between her son Zachary, 15, and her daughter Belle, who turned one last week.

The video posted to her millions of followers showed Zachary, who Stacey welcomed when she was 17 before shooting to fame on the X Factor, coming home from school and was welcomed home by his delighted little sister who was quick to toddle over and be embraced by the teen.

"When they say a 15-year gap is too long..." Stacey, 34, typed across the video before sharing more about their relationship in the caption of her post.

The mum-of-five, who shares Belle, Rose and Rex with her husband Joe Swash as well as Leighton from a previous relationship, wrote: "The Oldest & The Youngest. Zach coming home from school is a favourite time of day in this house! 15 years between these two & it’s the most special wonderful thing to watch them growing up together."

She then added: "15 months or 15 years, family is everything." And the post was quickly flooded with comments as Stacey's fans and followers gushed over the adorable moment.

Former The Only Way is Essex star Lydia Bright said: "13 years between me and @romanaluciabright and she is my best friend." Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt replied: "Same between me and my sister Stacey and we are so close."
