Holders Hamilton Accies will face South Lanarshire neighbours East Kilbride in the last 16 of the SPFL Trust Trophy, while Rangers B could lie in wait for Airdrie.
The Accies team faced a mad dash across the Irish Sea to beat Coleraine in the last round after their flight on the day of the game was delayed, but there will be no such worries in the last 16 after they were handed a tie much closer to home in today's fourth round draw.
John Rankin's men will make the short trip along the A725 to K-Park to play the Lowland League side next month, after Kilby eased past a youthful Edinburgh City side 4-1.
Championship side Airdrie had to battle hard to see off Lowland League Stirling University in round three, coming from behind to beat the students 3-2 at Forthbank last week.
And they will face either League One Alloa or Rangers B, who have yet to play their third round clash, away from home.
The ties are set to be played on the weekend of October 14/15.
