SPFL coefficient boost sparks Turkey tussle as Celtic Champions League safety net helps top ten battle

It's been some week for the coefficient as Hearts, Hibs and Rangers all saw off heavy competition across Europe, but Turkey are on our tail.

Celtic have contributed massively to said number with their automatic qualification for the Champions League, worth 0.8 points on it's own when divided by the five Scottish clubs involved. The prospect of finishing in 9th place on the coefficient table on 31.45 points makes for good reading, and despite sending Switzerland tumbling down the ranks, Turkey pose an immediate threat to our top ten status.
