Southampton vs Man City live early team news plus kick-off time and how to watch
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Man City's trip to Southampton in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola's side make the long trip to the South Coast looking for another three points in their bid to secure Champions League qualification next season.
City's 1-0 win over Wolves last Friday lifted them up to third place in the Premier League table and that is where they will remain with a win at St Mary's.
That will put City in a commanding position to secure a top five spot, which will be enough to secure Champions League football next season, with just two matches remaining.
Southampton are looking for just one point in their next three games to avoid the indignity of equalling the Premier League's worst ever points tally.

As Manchester City make their way down for another sunny May trip to Southampton, there will be plenty of fans on their way there fondly remembering 2018. It was at St Mary's on the last day of the 2017/18 campaign when Pep Guardiola's side made history, becoming the first team in Premier league history to secure 100 points.
Not that it was obvious for most of the game that City would get the three points they needed. Claudio Bravo and Danilo were among the starters in a team without a centre-forward as Guardiola rotated his side, and the introduction of youngsters Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz for the final 10 minutes did not suggest the team was pushing to improve on the one shot on goal they had enjoyed to that point.
