As Manchester United look to mould their squad for the 2025/26 Premier League season in this summer's transfer window, there are some big decisions to take internally, too.

United are keen to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford as they look to back up the signings of Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon.

But any deals beyond signing the Cameroon international will need to be funded by player sales and, as such, decisions may have to be taken on the six United players who are now in the final year of their contracts.

Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho have all informed United they want to leave the club in the summer and Malacia and Sancho are among those players in the final years of their deals.

Malacia spent a huge chunk of his time at United sidelined with a serious knee injury but is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford after an indifferent loan spell with PSV.
