Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim will speak to the media this afternoon to preview his side's opening game of the Premier League Summer Series in the United States.

United will face West Ham United in their opening game of their pre-season tour at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday morning (12am BST).

After drawing 0-0 with Leeds United in Stockholm in their first friendly of the summer last weekend, United will be hoping to take their pre-season preparations up a notch against the Hammers.

New signing Bryan Mbeumo could make his unofficial debut for the Reds against the Londoners after arriving from Brentford earlier this week. It remains to be seen if Amorim will throw him straight into the starting XI.

This afternoon's press call will mark Amorim's first interaction with journalists since the post-season tour in May, meaning he is expected to be quizzed on a variety of topics.

Signed for an initial fee of £65million, Mbeumo is a statement signing for United, and they will be determined for him to hit the ground running.

He was outstanding for Brentford last season, scoring 20 Premier League goals. It remains to be seen if he will start the friendly against West Ham United or appear from the bench.
