Sinisalo sees A-lister endorse Celtic transfer, Bernardo contract details 'emerge' and £60m winger helps out Jota

Viljami Sinisalo has become Celtic's first summer recruit and the new Bhoy has a huge A-list goalkeeper in his corner.

Brendan Rodgers has shelled out £1million to Aston Villa to bring the Finland international on board. The 22-year-old was pictured jetting out to the USA before his official announcement with the Parkhead faithful likely to get a look at the newbie across games with DC United, Manchester City and Chelsea. The goalkeeper himself can't wait to get started at what he describes as a 'massive football cub with incredible support and history' as he bids to follow in the footsteps of the 'incredible goalkeepers' Celtic have had in their ranks over the years.

Speaking of incredible goalkeepers, World Cup and Copa American winner Emi Martinez - who is on the books at Sinisalo's former club - has been in touch to wish him all the best after he posted Instagram following his move to Parkhead. The Argentina No1 posted: "All the best brother" with a red love heart emoji. His message was in response to Sinisalo who wrote: "My time @avfcofficial has come to an end. I came here as a 16 year old boy and will always be grateful for the opportunity that I was given. I have watched an amazing football club develop even further and look forward to watching their success from afar now.
