Celtic transfer news latest as Bazoumana Toure 'scouted' but Tanner Tessmann to Fiorentina 'near finishing line'

Celtic have reportedly scouted Hammarby’s teenage African sensation Bazoumana Toure.

English Premier League side Crystal Palace and Bundesliga clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt have already been linked with the 18-year-old this summer. But it has been claimed in Sweden that last season’s double winners have gone a step further by scouting the youngster when he scored in Hammarby’s 2-0 win over rivals Brommapojkarna last month.

Toure has earned a place in the first team this season, dislodging Montenegrin international winger Viktor Djukanovic. Celtic are no strangers to being linked with Hammarby players, having been interested in Iraqi full back Mohanad Jeahze during Ange Postecolgou’s time at the club. Ivorian Toure has made just 10 competitive appearances, totalling 637 minutes of first team football, but has netted three times and the Allsvenskan side are bracing themselves for bids.

But FotbollDirekt who claim Celtic are interested add in their report that “it is unlikely that Hammarby's management will be interested in releasing the 18-year-old winger.” Toure only moved to the Swedish outfit in March from Ivory Coast club ASEC Mimosas.

However, one Celtic target looks to be slipping away from their grasp as reports in Italy claim Tanner Tessmann's transfer from Venzia to Fiorentina is nearing the finishing line. The USA international is wanted by the Viola and Sky Sports Italia say a deal in the region of £5 million will see the 22-year-old head to Florence.
