Simon Jordan rinses Rangers boss Michael Beale as baffled pundit asks 'what have you been doing?' in Ibrox report card

Simon Jordan has questioned what Michael Beale has been doing at Rangers as he declared the Ibrox board will be considering the future in a fresh swipe at the boss.

Jordan has been vocal in his criticism of Beale after he left QPR to make a return to Rangers where he had previously served as Steven Gerrard's No.2. He has taken swipes at the Gers boss during his public spat with Chris Sutton and following last season's trophyless campaign. Beale now faces a fresh round of criticism after a lacklustre start to the campaign with the Light Blues which has seen the club crash out of the Champions League with a heavy defeat to PSV Eindhoven as well as slip four points behind Celtic in the early rounds of the Scottish Premiership after derby day defeat.

With the Londoner approaching a year in charge, Jordan question on talkSPORT where the signs of progress have been and reckons that punters and those behind the scenes in Govan will now be asking questions about Beale before the Scottish Premiership restarts on Saturday following the international break. Jordan said: "This is the reality of that particular job; You have got to be better than Celtic and if you're not then you are going to come under fire because the expectation level is established between these two football clubs.

"Questions are abound if you losing to Celtic and being smashed in the Champions League and you are not seeming to advance. You have got a year in and have we seen anything that tells us Rangers are going in the right direction?
