Shane Lowry in explosive X-rated rant at The Open camera man after landing shot in the rough

Shane Lowry was heard swearing at a camera man after a rare mishap prevented him extending his lead at The Open.

Irish golfer Lowry was leading by two heading into the 11th hole in the second round at Royal Troon. But as he teed off, he hooked it left, and it landed in the brush - the ball even going missing for around 20 minutes. It was eventually found but he could only land a double bogey - allowing Englishman Dan Brown to tie him for the lead heading into the 12th.

Lowry was understandably frustrated and his hot mic caught him giving it tight to one camera operator. He was heard saying: "As I was over the ball I could just see you putting your f****** camera up. Just get out of the way. Just get back there. F*** sake!” As things stand world no.33 Lowry remains tied in the lead.
