Olympics latest: Doyle and Lynch win bronze, McIlroy and Lowry to tee off in golf

It's another busy day for Team Ireland at the Olympic Games.

Team Ireland have won another medal at the Olympic Games, this time in rowing.

Rowers Philip Doyle and Daire Lynch have taken bronze after finishing third in the Men's Double Sculls Final.

The duo finished behind Romania in first and the Netherlands in second. The success marks Ireland’s fourth ever rowing medal at an Olympic Games.

It is Ireland's fourth medal of the Paris Games.

Elsewhere, the Women's four team have won the B final, which means they finished 7th overall, while Alison Bergin and Zoe Hyde finished fourth in the women's Double Sculls B final to finish 10th overall.

Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove can also secure a medal today.

A top-4 finish in the Men’s Skiff medal race will guarantee them a place on the podium.

Staying on the water, and Finn Lynch and Eve McMahon get their respective dinghy campaigns underway.

Noel Hendrick goes in the Semi Finals of the Men's K1 Canoe Slalom this afternoon.

Jack Marley can secure Ireland’s second boxing medal of the games with victory over Davlat Boltaev of Tajikistan in the men's heavyweight quarter-finals.

And Daina Moorehouse will make her Olympic debut, facing World Championship bronze medallist Wassila Lkhadiri in the flyweight last-16.

Last night, Roscommon Middleweight Aoife O'Rourke was beaten by Poland’s Elzbieta Wojcik in a contentious split decision.

In the pool this morning, Tom Fannon competes in the heats of the 50-metre freestyle - if he qualifies, he'll return for the semis tonight.

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry represent Ireland in the men’s golf, which gets underway today at Le Golf National.

McIlroy is level par through three, while Lowry tees off just before 10.45am.
