Scottish Cup TV picks revealed as Celtic and Rangers star in blockbuster doubler and Morton vs Hearts goes primetime

The Scottish Cup quarter-final ties picked for broadcast have been confirmed with Celtic vs Livingston and Hibs vs Rangers to be shown by Viaplay Sports back to back on a blockbuster Sunday of live action.

Eight teams remain in the competition as they all begin dreaming of lifting the famous old trophy in the end of season showpiece. This stage of the tournament offers the big prize incentive of reaching the semi-final and a day out at Hampden with victory. Brendan Rodgers' holders advanced to this stage by dumping St Mirren in Paisley while Philippe Clement and his troops came out on top against Scott Brown's Ayr United side at Ibrox 24 hours earlier.

Greenock Morton stunned Motherwell and fly the flag for the Championship and their reward is a tie at home to Hearts at Cappielow. BBC Scotland will show that as the last of the eight ties on Monday, March 11 while the Aberdeen host Kilmarnock on the Saturday lunchtime of an action-packed weekend. Steven Naismith's in-form Tynecastle outfit overcame Airdrie in a convincing 4-1 victory while Aberdeen dumped out lower league Bonnyrigg Rose with Kilmarnock victorious over Cove Rangers.
