Scott McTominay faces Man United exit as 11 players 'named' by Jim Ratcliffe on summer clearout list

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly set to launch a clearout at Manchester United with 11 stars facing up to being moved on.

Ratcliffe is starting to make changes at the club after purchasing a 25 per cent stake in the club for around £1.3billion. . The club wants to hire Dan Ashworth as their first-ever sporting director. He's currently doing this job at Newcastle United. Newcastle said that Ashworth is on gardening leave because he wants to move to Old Trafford. Now, it's up to United and Newcastle to agree on this before Ashworth can start his new job.

MEN Sport report that the changes will not just be involved Ashworth he might let 11 players leave Old Trafford. There could be some big movements on the cards for United come this summer's transfer window. Ratcliffe and Ineos have invested in the club and they might let up to 11 first-team footballers make permanent moves away from Old Trafford.

Raphael Varane, Casemiro, Scott McTominay, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof may all need to find new clubs, the report suggests. A few loaned-out players could also secure permanent departures, including Jadon Sancho, Brandon Williams, Donny van de Beek and Facundo Pellistri.
