Roy Hodgson seeks Celtic tips from Brendan Rodgers over Odsonne Edouard as Parkhead hero toasts Rangers victory

Odsonne Edouard made his Sunday celebrations a double after two goals for Crystal Palace and derby joy for Celtic.

The Frenchman joined the Selhurst Park club in 2021 for £14million and has had a stop-start time in the English Premier League. Under Roy Hodgson's influence this season, he has netted four goals in five league and cup games already and two of those were scored during an impressive 3-2 win over Wolves. Kyogo's goal before half-time at Ibrox confirmed a 1-0 win for Brendan Rodgers' men to put them top of the Premiership table with a six-point gap made between them and Rangers. Rodgers was the man who brought Edouard to the UK on loan from PSG and he went on to score 87 goals in 179 matches.

“He hadn’t lost the technique, talent, the skill or the things that made him so big at Celtic. I spoke to Brendan
