Medway Area Sunday League round-up (26/04/26)

Rochester Eagles United booked their spot in the final of the Junior Charity Trophy on Sunday.

They won 3-2 against Great Lines United with goals from Liam Basham (2) and Callum Goatham.

New Road Athletic reached the final of the Junior Charity Cup with an 8-3 win against Rochester Eagles.

Billy Rogers (4), Danny Davies (3) and Ash Barton did the damage with Ryan Badham, Lee Jackson and Jack Vince replying for Eagles.

Wigmore defeated Black Eagle Athletic 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes in the fifth round of the Andy Groves Memorial Cup.

In league action, there was a big Premier Division win for Cuxton 91 as they thrashed Eagles 12-1 thanks to Jamie Reeves (4), Harry Martin (2), Dan Haggar (3), Reece Candler (2) and Nathan Holt.

In Division 1, Docklands United and Cliffe Woods Colts A shared the points in a 2-2l draw. Aaron Greenfield and Ralph Bradford netted for Dockyard while Jack Burnham scored both goals for Cliffe Woods Colts A.

FC Catalans and Swanscombe Tigers drew 0-0 in the first game of their double header.

In match two, Sam Dobson’s effort was not enough for Swanscombe Tigers in a 2-1 loss to FC Catalans, for whom Robbie Jones and Taylor Fraser found the target.

In Division 2, ASK Pentagon won 4-1 at The Walnut Tree United with goals from Ryan Capon (2), Josh Hearn and Josh Waters.

Division 3 Rainham 84 won 2-0 at Anchorians Rovers thanks to Sam Wilson and Sam Kenny.

Mitchell Mannell (2), Harry Hatton and Andre Francis were the Hempstead United marksmen in a 4-2 success against The Stumble.

Ben Tubbs scored the Kent Marina goal in their 2-1 defeat to Inter Rainham.
