Robin Lopez Grateful For Two Hours As Patrick Beverley's Teammate

NBA center Robin Lopez, 35, took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing on the almost two whole hours he spent as Patrick Beverley's teammate on the Bucks.

Lopez played on the Bucks until a trade to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday ended his eight-month run with Milwaukee. 

Before his trade to the Kings, Lopez got to spend an hour and 40 minutes as Patrick Beverley's teammate after Milwaukee acquired the guard from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Robin Lopez wrote a touching tribute to his time as not just a teammate to Beverley, but a brother — even if the connection lasted less than two hours. 

The center reacted to his trade on X: "I enjoyed being teammates with Patrick Beverley for all of an hour and 45 minutes I'll never forget those times. #indelible."

Lopez referenced extremely current events when sharing his top memories with Beverley on X. A fan asked Lopez what his favorite times with Pat Bev were …

"The car ride home from shootaround," Lopez said. "Listening to some jamz on the radio. Discussing the ‘Knuckle’s tv show trailer. The end of the car ride home Climbing into bed for my nap There's really too, too many. It's overwhelming."

Robin Lopez was promptly waived by Sacramento, making him a free agent. His brother, Brook Lopez, plays for the Bucks.
