Rico Lewis and Jack Grealish start as Man City fans pick starting XI vs Young Boys

Manchester City will be hoping to secure their place in the last-16 of the Champions League when they face BSC Young Boys at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening.

City are currently top of Group G after winning each of their first three group games, and know that another three-point haul will clinch their place in the knockout stages and edge them closer to winning the group. They are currently three points ahead of second-placed RB Leipzig.

The Blues, who stretched their winning run in all competitions to four matches with a thumping 6-1 triumph over Bournemouth on Saturday, defeated Young Boys in Switzerland just under a fortnight ago, winning 3-1. Erling Haaland scored twice that evening, but he is an injury doubt for this evening's game.

However, he did train on Monday, easing fears that he has not suffered a serious, long-term issue. It remains to be seen if he will make the matchday squad.

City, however, have strength in depth across the board, meaning manager Pep Guardiola could freshen up his pack despite qualification to the last-16 being within touching distance.
