Referee once slammed by Erik ten Hag to take charge of Manchester United vs Ipswich
The Premier League has confirmed Anthony Taylor will take charge of Manchester United's clash with Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Sunday afternoon.
United will make the trip to Suffolk with the ambition of making a winning start to the Ruben Amorim era after he was installed as Erik ten Hag's successor earlier this month.
Amorim, who arrived in England on November 11, held his first training session at Carrington on Monday, stating the process of plotting his plan for the upcoming clash with the Tractor Boys, who secured their first Premier League win of the season last time out.

Both sides have now learned the contest will be governed by experienced Premier League whistle-blower Taylor, who has already presided over one United fixture so far this season, taking charge of their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in September.
The 46-year-old will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn. The fourth official will be Matt Donohue. Australian official Jarred Gillett will be on VAR duty, assisted by Neil Davies.
Taylor, who has also refereed in the Champions League this season, has officiated a fixture involving United on 48 occasions during his career. On each of the last two occasions he has officiated a United fixture, Liverpool were the opponent.
Taylor, who has dished out 64 yellow cards in 14 matches across all competitions this season, including 43 in the Premier League, has history with United, once being heavily criticised by former United boss Ten Hag during the 2022/23 season.
