Manchester United supporters make same Amad and Erik ten Hag point after dazzling Everton display

Ruben Amorim claimed his first victory as Manchester United head coach when his side hammered Everton 4-0 on Sunday.

The result at Old Trafford lifted the Reds into the top half of the Premier League table. Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both caught the eye as they bagged braces.

Following the victory, Manchester Evening News readers shared their views on who they thought impressed in the comments section of Samuel Luckhurst's player ratings. And below is a round-up of what supporters had to say.

Utd20T commented: "Amorim is having an immediate impact - Rashford, Hojlund and even Zirkzee are suddenly scoring. I'm sure we will have some ups and downs along the way, but I'm starting to feel confident that we've got a top coach."

Amad

Jungle Jerry said, "Amad is revelling in his new role. Being 2-footed certainly helps. He can pass well with his right foot and has made a couple assists with his right foot. He presses well and has won the ball on many occasions, with a few resulting in goals! He will be giving Mazraoui a tough fight for player of the year!"

Noronny wrote: "Of course, Amad was peerless today. Great to see Shaw, Maguire and Mount on field at same time. They bring energy which has been sorely missing."

LesJohnson said: "Confidence breeds confidence and this was vital for the game against Arsenal. Amad clearly MOTM, incredible, and how ETH ignored him is unbelievable, cost him his job! We are all now happy Amorim has acknowledged our young talents' ability and giving them the minutes they deserve. Next stop Arsenal, can't wait!"
