Joshua Zirkzee given boost ahead of Manchester United return
Manchester United attacker Joshua Zirkzee has been recalled to the Netherlands squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League clash against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zenica on Tuesday evening.
The 23-year-old, who joined United from Italian club Bologna in July, has been included in the 23-man matchday squad named by manager Ronald Koeman after he was left out for Saturday's 4-0 win over Hungary.
Koeman, earlier this month, selected a 25-man squad for the November international break but there is only room for 23 players within the matchday squad. Unfortunately for Zirkzee, he, along with Bournemouth forward Justin Kluivert, was axed from the squad for the win over Hungary at the weekend, just over 24 hours after Koeman warned two players would miss out.

However, Zirkzee, who has scored one goal for United so far this season, has been included in Koeman's plans for the clash with Sergej Barbarez's side. Kluivert has also been recalled to the squad.
UEFA rules state that a 23-man squad for a Nations League league phase fixture must be updated the night before the game. Recalls for Zirkzee and Kluivert have meant Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong have made way, with the duo being released back to their clubs.
Koeman, speaking on Monday, said: "For both Frenkie and Virgil it is better for them to leave the training camp at this moment. That decision was taken on medical grounds, with of course the interest of the players coming first."
