Rangers transfer bulletin as Luca Langoni 'approach' made while David Jurasek deal receives loaded Benfica warning

Rangers have reportedly joined a host of clubs who have made an approach to land Luca Langoni from Boca Juniors.

Philippe Clement has admitted he may need to get creative this month with Fabio Silva the only new name in the door at the midway point in the winter window. Fans might have expected more new faces in by this point as they look to challenge Celtic for the Scottish Premiership crown - but the Belgian boss has conceded it's not easy in January for clubs who don't have loads of cash to splash

And the Light Blues appear to be looking to beat clubs from across Europe to a bargain and bring the 21-year-old winger to Govan in the summer. The Evening Standard reports that English Premier League side Fulham have not made their move so far this month - but Rangers, Nice and Sevilla are all said to have "made recent approaches" for the Argentinian.

Another name doing the rounds is Benfica defender David Jurasek - with reports in the Portuguese media claiming Rangers have shown an interest in taking the left-back to Ibrox on loan. It comes just six months after he left Slavia Prague in an £8million deal.

He has managed just 11 appearances in all competitions and boss Roger Schmidt has left the door open for a temporary exit, it has been claimed. But Benfica hero Maniche has warned the Portuguese side they may be giving up on the Czech Republic international too soon.

Speaking to Bancada about the the 23-year-old, he said: "They didn't say that Jurásek was Maldini or Roberto Carlos (when they signed him) but they didn't have to do so. The player won't prove such a thing, but there needs to be a certain amount of care here in this situation because he has a lot of quality and can be very useful to Benfica."
