It's set to be a summer of change for Rangers as Gio van Bronckhorst looks to freshen things up to wrestle the Premiership title back.

It's been a case of ups and downs for the Dutchman as the season ended with Europa League heartbreak and Scottish Cup elation within a matter of days.

But the true measure of his management mettle will come after the summer when he has a squad of his own making to play with.

Van Bronckhorst was allowed to bring players in in January but loanees Aaron Ramsey and Amad Diallo didn't hit the ground running as planned.

James Sands looks a capable squad player who could develop into more but permanent addition Mateusz Zukowski barely kicked a ball aside from a couple of Scottish Cup cameos.
