Rangers SPFL Premiership fixtures for 2024/25 in full as Ibrox upheaval throws back to back clashes up in the air

Rangers face having to find an alternative venue for at least TWO Premiership games due to the ongoing upheaval at Ibrox – but travel to Tynecastle to kick the campaign off on Saturday, August 3.

Delayed improvement works mean Ibrox will be out of commission for the month of August and Record Sport reported on Wednesday that there would be no arrangement to allow Rangers to reverse their calendar and play away from home exclusively in the early stages. Instead, the Ibrox club were asked to wait until the fixtures came out before opening talks over an alternative venue – with Murrayfield the most likely.

And now those formal talks can commence with Philippe Clement's team facing Motherwell and Ross County in August in consecutive scheduled home fixtures on Saturday August 10 and 24 after the opener at Tynecastle, which raises the curtain for the 2024/25 Premiership campaign.

The supporters will also be desperate to mark down the derby fixtures with Brendan Rodgers and Celtic with the first battle to take place on matchday four at Parkhead. The date is currently scheduled in for Saturday, August 31. The second meeting takes place in the annual New Year slot on Thursday, January 2 at Ibrox with the final meeting before the league split taking place on Saturday, March 15 in Glasgow's east end.
