Rangers revival ignites Celtic title race as run in laid bare with rivals neck and neck in Premiership fight

But Philippe Clement's arrival and some sticky form from Celtic has transformed Rangers and after dumping Aberdeen in a dramatic night under the lights at Ibrox, he rivals now sit LEVEL on points at the league summit with just ONE goal separating both sides with the same number of games played. Brendan Rodgers takes his champions to Easter Road on Wednesday night, a venue he has never won at, hoping to get back to winning ways after drawing at Pittodrie last time out. The Light Blues face a Ross County side in freefall in their game in hand next midweek.

Love is truly in the air around Govan at present and the Ibrox faithful could be celebrating Valentine's day by going top of the table in their own right. A lot of that will come down to the outcome of Celtic's clash in Leith in terms of the result and goals scored which will determine whether Rangers can open a points gap or potentially goal difference. But either way, what a finale we are set for in Scotland's top flight.
