Rangers diehards award Celtic a mocking applause as Hotline told you don't like us when we're DOMINATING


IT was a weekend of Scottish Cup drama and it was inevitable the officials would be back in the spotlight.

This time it was at Easter Road where Rangers were awarded a penalty before two Hibs players were sent off in their 2-0 win to get Philippe Clement's men to the semi-finals. Ben Casey, Norwich, said: “The performance of the Scottish officials on Sunday proves – if ever proof was needed – that they are by far the worst and most incompetent in Europe.”

But Scott Gowers, Edinburgh, said: “Rangers have had softer yellow cards and sending off this season than the two Hibs players sent off. None of the officials decisions were Rangers’ fault so why the hullabaloo? Brendan Rodgers breached the rules and has to deal with the consequences like it or not, should there be no punishment for breaching the rules then the SFA will be more of a laughing stock than already thought.”
