Rangers charged with 'multitude of sins' by Ibrox legends as Europa League embarrassment leaves 6 heroes stunned

Rangers have faltered in the Europa League and it's a performance that earned a unanimous 'horrible to see' verdict.

It went from bad to worse on the hour mark when Connor Goldson and Co were caught on the break and helpless Jack Butland could do little to stop Babicka. Abdallah Sima's consolation with twenty to play wasn't enough to stop the tide of furious pundits such as Rangers-linked Derek McInnes who said a 'multitude of sins' were to blame.

The likes of former Ibrox hero Kris Boyd were less than complimentary as he claimed he would rather walk his dog than watch the display, while across the air waves and the TV stations there was a unanimous verdict that the Light Blues deserved to take nothing from Limassol.

A lot of what we've seen from Rangers domestically is that there is a lack of confidence, clearly in the players. Sometimes you have to work that bit harder, knuckle down and run the yards. Put people under pressure, it covers a multitude of sins. There's a few there still feeling sorry for themselves and they need to get themselves going and work that bit harder.

It was a really poor performance. They lacked energy, they lacked passion and lacked any real quality. Limassol punished them, dodged a bullet in the first half with that chance to go two nil after ten minutes but got punished again in the second half on the counter attack. It probably accelerates the process a little bit now.
