Police incident shuts busy Cardiff road both ways

A Cardiff road was closed both ways following a police incident. A South Wales Police spokesperson said at around 8am on Saturday morning that officers were at the scene of an incident on Leckwith Hill.

"The road is currently closed in both directions between Pen-Y-Turnpike road and Leckwith Roundabout," the spokesperson said. "It is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
