Philippe Clement learns Rangers lesson as boss reacts to Graeme Souness' Frank Lampard preference admission

Philippe Clement says he's not bothered Rangers legend Graeme Souness preferred Frank Lampard for the job - because he has it now and he's focused on getting it right.

"I'm not here to talk about rumours or things that are spread, because that was not the real story what he said. I'm busy with the team, that's what's important.

"There's nothing that concerns me. We had a good talk in the interview. It was interesting also for me to get more info about the club and make a decision. It's somebody who is passionate about the club."

Clement was also asked about reports Souness is set to take on a permanent role after the club hailed his influence in the appointment process. It remains to be seen exactly what shape that will take,
