Philippe Clement hits the gym as Rangers boss' game face scares fans OFF from asking for a selfie

There's a heavy burden to be carried managing one of the Old Firm and right now Philippe Clement is feeling the full weight pressing down on his shoulders.

It’s in these circumstances that many of Clement’s predecessors have found sanctuary in passions away from football. That’s easier said that done for a self-confessed “football obsessive” who has his mind on his team almost 24/7. The Ibrox gaffer is about to find he’s got a little less time to dodge the crushing environment he dived into when he took the Ibrox gig on back in October now that a new date for Sunday’s postponed clash with Dundee is going to have to be found somewhere in his team’s hectic run-in.

But he believes those brief moments where he can spend some time whipping himself into shape will be key to ensuring he has the strength and stamina for the remainder of the Premiership endurance test. “It’s 24/7 for me — but I have things that I enjoy away from football,” said Clement.
