Philippe Clement has eyes fixed on Rangers manager job amid offer of Saudi millions

Philippe Clement is keen on a move to Rangers amid “ongoing talks” with the Ibrox board – despite having held talks over a potential money-spinning move to Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab.

The 49-year-old has an impressive CV and reports in Belgium say the former Genk, Club Brugge and Monaco gaffer is “keen on the move”. Clement has been out of work since leaving Monaco earlier this year. He joined mid-season and lead them to third place in Ligue 1 and Champions League qualification. He finished sixth in his second season, his only full campaign. They missed out on reaching the Champions League after losing to PSV Eindhoven in the qualifiers and finished second in their Europa League group before losing to Bayer Leverkusen on penalties in the last-32.
