Pep Guardiola press conference live Haaland injury latest ahead of Man City vs Liverpool

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester City vs Liverpool.

City return to Premier League action following the international break with a blockbuster clash against their fearsome foes. The Blues drew 4-4 in a thrilling match with Chelsea last time out and will be eager to get back to winning ways in Saturday's early kick-off.

Pep Guardiola did have some injury concerns over the break with Erling Haaland, Nathan Ake, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, Ederson and Sergio Gomez all picking up knocks. Many of those fears appear to have been alleviated in training on Thursday but the manager will be asked to provide a full update.

There could also be progress reports on John Stones and Kevin De Bruyne, who were both sidelined before the international break.
