Popular Wales beauty spot turned blue in touching tribute to young cop who took his own life
A popular beauty spot in North Wales was illuminated by blue lights in memory of a young policeman. PC Ryan Donaldson sadly took his own life in December last year.
The 31-year-old was described as a 'highly valued member' of the Wrexham Rural policing team and had been a North Wales Police officer since 2018. On 11th November 2023, around 50 Police officers, staff, volunteers and members of other North Wales emergency services lit up a path at Moel Famau during a walk to honour Ryan and other officers and staff who have lost their lives due to mental health problems.

"I’d firstly like to thank Ryan’s mother Linda and his sister Cara for supporting, attending at this event and allowing it to take
