Pep Guardiola disputes Manchester United claim and lauds Man City star after derby win

Manchester City fans will be celebrating into the early hours following today's brilliant victory at Manchester United.

Pep Guardiola's side defeated their bitter rivals in comfortable fashion at Old Trafford. Erling Haaland gave the visitors the lead from the spot on 26 minutes when Rodri was fouled inside the area.

The Norwegian added a second after the interval when he headed home a brilliant Bernardo Silva cross. Haaland became provider 10 minutes from time as he squared the ball for Phil Foden to tap in at the back stick to ensure the spoils went back to the blue half of the city.
