Partick Thistle 1, Airdrie 1: Ben Wilson the hero as he rescues a point
Ben Wilson struck early in the second half to snatch a point for Airdrie at Partick Thistle, stretching their unbeaten Championship run to four games.
Wilson cancelled out Brian Graham's first-half opener as the Diamonds work to try and steer themselves away from relegation trouble/
Graham had them on their way in 17 minutes which was against the run of play at the time, but Thistle emerged as the better team by half-time, as Logan Chalmers struck a post and forced several saves from the visiting keeper KIeran Wright.
But Airdrie stepped it up in the second half and earned a point through Wilson/
Caretaker boss Brian Graham made five changes to the side that lost 3-0 against Raith Rovers last weekend. On-loan Rangers Keeper Lewis Budinauckas made his debut, Josh Reid made his first start, and Graham put himself back in the side after suspension, alongside Robbie Crawford and Ben Stanway. They came in for goalkeeper David Mitchell, Luke McBeth, Scott Martin, Terry Ablade and Aidan Fitzpatrick.
Diamonds gaffer Rhys McCabe made one change to the side that drew 2-2 at Morton last Saturday, with Lewis McGrattan coming in for Gavin Gallagher, who dropped to the bench.
Airdrie threatened in two minutes when Adam Frizzell sent Chris Mochrie down the left, but his cutback had no takers.
Mochrie was decked just outside the box on the right in seven minutes, but Adam Frizzell's free kick was taken at the top right corner.
Airdrie had a strong penalty shout in 11 minutes when McGrattan's cross from the right appeared to strike the hand of Dan O'Reilly, but referee Peter Stuart wasn't interested.
But Thistle scored with their first real attack in 17 minutes when Stuart Bannigan and Kanayo Megwa combined to set up Graham to score in
