'Out of this world!' - Manchester United fans go wild after Alejandro Garnacho goal vs Everton

Manchester United supporters lauded Alejandro Garnacho after he scored a Premier League Goal of the Season contender in Sunday afternoon's clash with Everton at Goodison Park.

With not even four minutes on the clock, the Argentina international, who was making his third successive league start, silenced the home crowd by netting a stunning overhead kick, drawing comparisons with Wayne Rooney's famous strike against Manchester City. Garnacho connected with Diogo Dalot's cross from the right and powered a sensational effort past Jordan Pickford.

Up against a fired-up Toffees side and a passion-fuelled atmosphere, created as a result of the 10-point deduction Everton were hit with just over a week ago, it was the perfect start for United and Garnacho, who is unlikely to ever score a better goal in his career. It was nothing short of sensational from the 19-year-old.

Unsurprisingly, Garnacho's strike was immediately hailed by United supporters on social media, many of whom who were stunned by the quality of the goal they had just seen. MEN Sport has had a close look at what they had to say...

On Sky Sports' commentary duty, former United right-back Gary Neville quipped: I don't think I've ever been in a stadium where I've seen an overhead kick as good as that. And I was there for Rooney's! Wow! That is a magical, magical goal."
