Sparking a Cristiano Ronaldo tantrum and upsetting Wayne Rooney - why Manchester United must be wary of Andoni Iraola

Andoni Iraola will feel a bigger sense of familiarity walking out at Old Trafford this afternoon than he has at any other Premier League stadium - apart from Bournemouth's Vitality of course.

The Cherries boss seems to finally be getting to grips with the rigour of Premier League football, winning three of his last four matches after failing to take three points in any of his opening nine games. The Spaniard brings his side to Manchester knowing the hosts are also in good form, however.

Manchester United have won six of their last eight in the league, the most recent of which was an excellent performance in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Chelsea. They can go level on points with Manchester City if they make it seven in nine, but face someone in Iraola who has proven somewhat a nemesis in limited battles against the Reds.

Iraola was a steady player, spending the vast majority of his career as a right-back at Athletic Bilbao. He spent 12 years as a first-team regular in the Basque country with four as captain.

It was during that four-year spell Iraola first met with United in an infamous Europa League last-16 clash during the 2011/2012 season. Bilbao were enjoying an excellent campaign under the iconic Argentinian manager Marcelo Bielsa, challenging for the La Liga title and exciting fans home and away in Europe.
