Openshaw Park cordoned off with huge emergency services presence at scene - latest updates

A park in Bury has been cordoned off this morning with a huge emergency services presence at the scene.

All entrances to Openshaw Park, off Rochdale Road, have been closed off by police officers. Several police vehicles have been pictured at the scene.

A fire engine was also spotted stationed near the park this morning. The park is around a mile away from the town centre.

The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed. The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police and the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service for information.
